Summary:
Responsibilities:
Work under supervision of Manager of R&D to develop advanced control systems for robotic manipulators and similar electromechanical systems, including motion control and servo tuning, development of dynamic models, modeling and simulations in Matlab, and implementation of software on real-time platforms. The responsibilities also include controls-related machine design analysis and selection of actuators, sensors and other controls-related components. Limited travel within and outside the US.

Essential Skills
- Skilled in general mathematical modeling and analysis.
- Familiarity with system dynamics and control systems theory.
- Thermal modeling and analysis.
- Hands on experience with control systems and tuning.
- Proficiency in using MATLAB for data analysis and data control simulation
- Experience in C and C++ programming for Linux and for embedded systems.
- Some experience in electronic circuit design, prototyping, and troubleshooting.
Additional Desirable Skills
- Theoretical background and experience in electrical and electronic system design.
- Experience in digital and analog circuit design, embedded systems, interfacing with microcontrollers, power electronics design, and motion control.

Summary: This position has the primary responsible for developing, optimizing, and improving processes to ensure product quality. This involves taking the leadership in reduction of out-of-box quality issues, determining KPIs, gathering and analyzing data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing improvement plans.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:
• Lead cross-functional out-of-box quality reduction team with regular meetings and reports to management; this may entail root cause investigations, ensuring corrective actions are completed within and outside the group, and verification of effectiveness
• Work closely with production and other quality team members, including in-process inspectors to troubleshoot and resolve process issues
• Lead, or participate in, MRB meetings
• Identify opportunities for improvements in quality and manufacturing processes, and provide leadership in improving the processes in a cross-functional setting
• Monitor field failures and first pass yield; deploy problem solving tools such as 8D to reduce failure rates and increase yield
• Establish and develop quality processes to continually improve product quality; determine and improve KPIs
• Establish mindset of “zero defect” within the company
• Any other tasks and projects assigned by the supervisor and based on company needs
Skills Required:
• Competence in various Quality Tools, especially 8-D, 5-why, fishbone, and Kepner-Tregoe
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of LEAN principles and 5S
• Knowledge of six sigma principles; either green or black belt certification is desirable
• Understanding of Mechanical (GD&T) & Electrical drawings
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite of Products, especially Excel and Power Point
• Knowledge of statistical process control and SPC tools
• Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and issues with minimal management intervention
• Being able to adjust priorities with short notice in a fast-paced environment
Experience Required:
• 5+ years of experience in an Engineering position, with preferably 2+ years in Quality
• Having worked under ISO 9001 or similar Quality Management System environment
• Proven leadership experience coordinating cross-functional teams within company
• Semiconductor industry experience is a plus
• Familiarity with FactoryLogix or VisualFactory, JobBoss, or other MES system is a plus

• Ability to work inside cleanroom and follow all cleanroom protocols, lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and walk up and down stairs multiple times per day

Responsibilities and Deliverables:
• Management of invoice entry
• Confirming accounts with senior accountant or AP specialist to have accurate accounts while processing invoices
• Performs weekly check run, for payment of suppliers including checks, ACH’s, wires, and dropping them off in the office mail room or dropping off at the post office
• Main contact point for suppliers; communication with suppliers (Direct communication with suppliers)
• Processes consultant paychecks with US and overseas consultants

Summary: As the Facilities Manager this position is responsible for all efforts to execute and deliver facilities management, repairs and maintenance of the Persimmon Facilities. Additionally, this role will support the emerging needs of internal stakeholders to manage space efficiently with effective and practical solutions that are complaint to industry standards.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:
- Ensure safe work practices and controls are properly documented, compliant with local codes, and industry standards e.g. OSHA and EPA
- Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns and complaints, that are documented and tracked.
- Ensure timely and successful completion of building repair, maintenance, and service work, ensuring that operations optimize short and long-term operating costs and maintain or improve the integrity of the asset.
- Develop and manage budgets for facility maintenance, repair and improvement projects
- Develop and manage Facility Safety Plan – Enforce health and safety policies, including emergency evacuation plans, fire drills, and first-aid procedures.
- Develop Facility metrics on Facility uptime, Repair Times and Life cycles
- Manage equipment matrix – (Maintenance Express, Install, ID, Documentation, calibrations, preventative maintenance, and decommission)
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure delivery of services and negotiate terms
- Work with the building owner to ensure landscaping, snow removal, pest control, waste management are properly addressed

Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for performing visual mechanical, and basic electrical inspection for workmanship and completeness, packaging product for shipment, and gathering data to help with process and product quality traceability.
Reports to: Manufacturing Operations Manager
Direct Reports: This position does not have any direct reports.
Responsibilities and Deliverables:
• Responsible for visual inspection, labeling and packaging of final products to meet customer requirements.
• Review documentation accompanying final products for accuracy.
• Ensure finished product is packaging per processes in Persimmon’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
• Confirm all visible hardware are torqued per specifications.
• Capture photos of robot and upload into MES.
• Provide feedback and report on out-of-spec findings to Quality Management System.
Skills Required:
• Proficiency in the use of basic mechanical hand-measuring tools including calipers, torque drivers and basic hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable using MS Office products, especially Excel, Word and Power point.
• Consistent and strong attention to detail is essential.
• Knowledge of lean and 5S methodology is required.
Experience Required:
• Experience working inside a cleanroom.
• Using a hand and bench sealer to seal poly and foil bags.
• Vacuum sealing final products.

Summary: This position has the primary responsible for developing and executing the strategy for sourcing all machined parts, accountable for managing supplier relationships, analyzing market trends to secure competitive pricing and maintain high standards of quality and service, lead total cost-saving initiatives. Summary: This position is primarily responsible for the support and execution of motor and atmospheric product manufacturing efforts. Critical qualities for success in this position include mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, flexibility, and reliability. This position is located in the Tyngsborough, MA facility. This position will be relocated to the future Persimmon Technologies facility in Bedford, MA following facility transition in Q4 2025.
Reports to: Manager of Manufacturing Operations – Atmospheric Products

Responsibilities and Deliverables:
• Operation of electro/mechanical systems including winding machine, epoxy dispensing system, laser marker and milling machine as instructed including setups
• Delicate management of wire leads
• Soldering of terminals
• Mechanical assembly and adhesion of magnets to rotor core
• Marking, packaging and labeling of product
• Use of gauging, fixtures and tooling as required
• Operate specialty test fixtures
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Perform in-process inspection to ensure assembly quality
• Collect data as required
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Skills Required:
• Work within all stated Safety requirements within the facility
• Exceptional attention to detail with focus on zero defect
• Ability to perform repetitive activities with consistent quality for long durations
• Follows exact processes of record
• Ability to provide feedback for possible process improvements
• Excellent fine and gross motor skills

• Obtain certification to IPC/WHMA-A-620- thru in-house training and testing

Summary:
This position has the primary responsible for five major areas: 1) mechanical assembly of robotics parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies, 2) inspection or verification of all parts and assemblies required in-process of manufacturing, 3) test of sub-assemblies and assemblies within the manufacturing operations, 4) compliance to all manufacturing and quality processes and requirements including operating environment, Clean Room, ESD, 6S, etc., 5) Assisting in material handling, de-trash, pre-packaging of finished goods, cycle counting WIP, and identifying opportunities and implementing corrective/preventive actions within the guidelines of the PT continual improvement program.

• Mechanical assembly – press fit, thermal fit, interference fit
• Must be adept at using hand tools for assembly
• Installation of DC Brushless motors
• Installation and assembly of vacuum hardware, gaskets, surface finish, grease handling
• Torquing of mechanical hardware
• Electro-mechanical assembly; wire routing, cable routing, insertion of pins, connector termination, some rework
• Handling of PCBA’s – installation into mechanical assemblies and housings
• Understand vacuum leak check – performance using Agilent Leak Tester (helium sniff)
• Operating in a Class 10,000 clean room, clean handling, processing of materials for vacuum
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the business requirements
